Am at a loss as to pedigree and history of each of these individuals: James Franklin HENDRICKSON is my gg grandfather Joseph ADAMS (Nancy Joseph's mother, Augustus his - probable- brother) and Amanda Ellen MOSS were my ggg grandparents (William Moss - b. 1770 was her father, Judith THOMAS (dau. of Capt. Mark Thomas, my gggg grandfather) was her mother. Just some of my questions... --who were James Franklin Hendrickson's parents? was Richard his father? how does the early pioneer William Hendrickson fit in? the Hendrickson's have always had large families - who were JF's siblings/their families? how does the Rankin family fit into the picture? where did the Hendrickson's come from prior to landing in MO? and before then - when did they first immigrate and from where? --who WAS Joseph's father and what was his mother's maiden name? where did they come from originally? did she ever remarry? is there any truth to the family story linking the family to the Adam's presidents? --WHY was William Moss referred to as Captain, yet there is no evidence that he ever was? who were his parents? what was his wife's name? when did the family immigrate? --what was the maiden name of Ann, Capt. Thomas' 1st wife and what was the name of his 2nd wife? why did he exclude his first family from his will? who were his parents? etc :-) Would appreciate any info on parents, spouses, siblings, collateral lines, family history, migration - any and all help is much appreciated.
