I have a question for anybody that is a Plattin expert. I am looking for the location of McCormic, which may be the wrong spelling. I know it is basically synonymous with Plattin Station, but I don't know if these "towns" were north or south of present day Plattin. I suspect they were right where present day Plattin is, and Plattin used to be on the east side of Plattin creek, but I'm not sure about this. Can anybody confirm this? Another possiblilty is down McCormick Mine which was 1.25 miles S of present day Plattin, but this is off the RR. I also wonder if this should be spelled McCormack, as in McCormack Cemetery, which is SE of Old Plattin Church. Mike Flannigan
