I did pose that to the St Louis genforum last night with no response yet. I called the St Louis County Library and they have those records. Evidentally they are a pain to research though they do have a new guidebook to the set of microfilms/records. They do not offer lookups nor does the Gene Society. I have a retired cousin in Missouri who would probably go do it if I gave him specific instructions. Here's hoping it's not a big waste of time. The librarian told me that when Catholicism was still the 'state religion' that anyone, no matter what religion, had to be married in the Catholic church.
