Missouri History Museum gets bomb threat; no bomb found. The Missouri History Museum in Forest Park received a bomb threat just before 11 a.m. this morning. A search by police found no bomb and "police believe it was a hoax," said Karen Goering, executive vice president. The call came into the museum's Meriwether's restaurant, Goering said. Museum officials evacuated the museum building in Forest Park as well as the museum's Library and Research Center on Skinker Boulevard. "Quite frankly, because of the events today, there were only a handful of visitors," Goering said. The museum's staff went home at noon.
