Debbie I will check with my mother in Missouri she might know more about them.. I remember my dad used to know the Chappue family. I believe they lived just outside Festus, Missouri near a place called Horine, Missouri. I have a photo taken in the early 1920s and it has Kermit Chappue, Joseph Chappue and a Robert Chapppue in it (my dad told me who they were a fortunately I put the names with the picture). It is a group picture at a picnic near Horine. It is a little degraded but I believe you can make them out in the picture. I can try to scan it if you are interested.
