I recently received information on one of my long standing brickwalls. John Jones b 1811 IN was married to a woman named Ellen b SC. I have never been able to find a marriage record. I've since been told that Ellen is the daughter of Peter Williams and Mary Ann Ogle. This seems to make sense if Ellen came in the migration of the Williams/Ogles to Jefferson county. Can anyone confirm this and possibly point to data on the Williams/Ogle lines. This data came from films of Myrtle E. Gunderson which I understand may not be that reliable. Any help is appreciated.
