Lookng for Jefferson Co. CLARK, or surrounding area. MARGARET CLARK married JOHN DAVIS in J. C. on 28jun1827.His parent's are JAMES and SARAH DAVIS. MARGARET and JOHN had seven children. 1) SARAH who may have married FRANCIS BITTICK on10feb1848 2) MATILDA who married a) JOHN W. WILSON 1dec1850 b) SAMUEL T. GREER,ca1867 3) CHARLOTTE ELIZABETH, who married a) JOHN WIDEMANN,26oct1856, b) R.M.EVERETT 4) WILLIAM CLARK 16apr1837-11oct1895 who married ELIZA JANE BITTICK ca1840 5) SILAS 11mar1842-18apr1885 who married MARY ANN PREWITT 1841-1904 (jc mar records says PREWITT, one researcher I found says PRUITT) on4Aug1859 7) HETTY JANE ca1849. In the 1860 census there are two other children living with them who weren't in the 1850 census, I'm guessing the were a nephew and neice, GEORGE, ca1841 and NANCY,ca1854 Would like any info you would be willing to share on any of these people but am most interested info on DAVIS, CLARK and BITTICK families.
