Kochner, 88, of Arnold died March 1, 1998, in St. Louis. Mrs. Kochner had been a farmer and a homemaker. Born on March 31, 1909, in Imperial, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Sophie ( Kassel) Kuechenmeister. [ note: Sophie was the daughter of Ernest Kassel & Maria Sophia Heiligtag] She was preceded in death by her husband , Joseph Kochner, and a brother, William Kuechenmeister. She is survived by a sister, Leona Kuechenmeister. Funeral services were March 5 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, officiated by the Rev. Russell Koen. Burial was in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Arrangements were under the direction of Heiligtag Funeral Home in Arnold.
