She had been ill about a month, and in failing health for some time. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Fred Shrum of First Methodist Church at 1 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) in a chapel of Mahn Funeral Home. Burial will be in City Cemetery. Mrs. Hardin was born Jan. 26, 1883, at Hopewell, Mo. She had been a resident of De Soto for ten years and was a member of First Methodist Church, the Bern Bible Class, and the King's Daughters. Surviving are a son, Rolla Hardin, De Soto, a sister, Mrs. Alice Spears, and a brother, William Tuite, both of Omaha, Neb; also two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
