Could she have been a sister?

He was 59 years of age. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Boyer) Pelot, and five children: Juanita, Amy, Mary, Louise, Catherine and Harry, Jr., several brothers and sisters and grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from the Mothershead Funeral Home to St. Rose of Lima Church, at nine o'clock. Mr. Pelot, a son of the late Louis and Susie (Bouchard) Pelot, formerly lived in Flat River and was employed by the Federal Lead Company. The family moved to DeSoto 25 years ago, and he was engaged in the oil business. He was a cousin of W. L. Bouchard, Editor of the Lead Belt News. She was born Oct. 22, 1922, at Davis Crossing, daughter of the late Benjamin and Nellie Radford. Also preceded by her husband, Homer Leftridge. She loved quilting, country dancing and family gatherings. She is survived by daughters: Louella Costello and Kay Price of DeSoto and Linda Bailey of Illinois; sons: Robert, William, Wayne and Randall, all of DeSoto; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Roy Radford of Festus. Place of birth is listed as Hesse, Darmstadt. I believe that Darmstadt was also on her death certificate. Peter FRANK is probably relate; how...I don't know!

Seburn is an ancestor of my mother's paternal family. I've often wondered if they and all the Williams who came in to share with the land grant given to Francis Wideman are kin. I know Seburn came from GA (So stated by his son in the 1860 census). I also believe Seburn settle near the Meremac River, somewhere near Pevely and that would have excluded him from any of Francis' grant which required them to travel at least 15 miles in land. I have found several Seburn Williams from the south but none I could pinpoint as mine. He is reported to have first married a Rachel Ogle. Hopefully with further research we can sort them all out. Clarence Evert or Everett Abernathy was born Feb. 28, 1899 and Died November of 1957 in Jefferson County - Crystal City. Married Rose Quest May 17, 1918. In need vital stats on Clarence and Adolfs parents. I have info that says their fathers name was Noah and mother was Ida Carrelton. I have been told that Ida married again and became Schneider (spell ?) possibly after Noah passed away but not sure. If anyone knows what happened to Noah please post information. Thanks in advance.

Her parents were Peter Williams and Mary Ann Ogle, b. c. 1770-1780. She died in 1846. Peter has also been listed as the first Williams in Jefferson County. Since he came with other people, could it be that he and Seborn are related? The Williams and Ogle families settled along Sandy Creek.

Revis. He was the mayor of Festus, Mo., elected in 1909. In his will, found at Jefferson College Library in Hillsboro, and dated 24 April 1929, he list daughter Gertrude & her husband Alonzo, & his sons Raymond, Dock, Jack & W.L.. His home was in the area of Adams & Church Streets in Festus. Witnesses to the will were Adam Fischer & George McCormack, both of Festus. Any help would be appreciated.

Located in Jefferson County on Chilton Hills road, is the plot of a few graves by an old tree. It is unknown how many are here. I was told when I was younger, that a woman is buried here with her child. She died giving birth to this child. The stone used to mark her spot has been removed. There is another stone, propped up in front of the tree & is a marker for someone. Both were native to Randolph County, Illinois, where they married in Rockwood in 1895. They had at least five children: Mable, Alonzo, Lillie Mildred, Howard, and Earl. Supposedly some descendants still live in the Crystal City area. Any info appreciated. Thanks!
