    2. I, too, am researching Frazier's from Jefferson Co; Missouri! My primary persons of interest right now are John (Jack)Thompson FRAZIER & his wife Genetta (Nettie) DANIELS who are buried in the Charter Baptist Church Cemetary. To the best of my knowledge their children were: John Ira, William S; Effie Elba (Decker), Essie, Georgia E. (Boyer), Eli Thomas, Finis L; Lilburn, George Cleveland & Lemual FRAZIER (died as an infant). If any of these names are familiar please contact me! Sincerely, Donell Frazier

    3. Arlene, There's a fairly new Super 8 Motel in Potosi which is down Highway 21 South, not far from DeSoto. Their phone number is: 573-438-8888. There's also (or was) the Arlington Bed & Breakfast Inn which is right across the tracks from the library in DeSoto. Now that would be handy! According to the phone book I have, their phone number is 636-337-0043. I have no idea what their rates would be, but it looks very nice from the outside. It was originally an old hotel by the railroad tracks. Here is the link to their web site: http://www.bnblist.com/mo/arlington/ Good Luck! 1. [MOJEFFER] Curtis Cemetery
    2. Desoto Joe
    3. This cemetery is located off of AA highway in Southern Jefferson County. It is located about 25 feet to the side of the old white church, that the boy scouts use now as a meeting hall. Take 61 south to AA & make a left, like you are going to Rush Tower, as soon as you turn onto AA, there is the white church house. You cannot see the burial plots from the road. It is just a small fenced in area where they used local stones to mark the graves. No one knows how many are buried here, probably less than a dozen. It seems that records said that a Mr. Curtis was buried here, so it is referred to as the Curtis cemetery. Members of that family are probably buried here, but others could be also. I heard that a fever of some sort came through & wiped out these people in the 1800's, but it has been unconfirmed. According to Betty Olson, head librarian at the De Soto branch, their records indicate the man as: Martin Thomas Curtis, Died March 18, 1944, 82 years, 6 mo. 18 days. Their records also say there are about 10 other unmarked graves there. Desoto Joe/The Record Man

    1. [MOJEFFER] Luckey Baptist church cemetery (oldest section)

    3. This cemetery is located off of highway Y. There are two sections, the older one is right by the church, the newer one is off to the side of the church. The older section has graves that have no markers left of some of those interred. Some metal markers have the paper inside of them, & are destroyed by water damage. There are local stones propped up as markers in the older section. I'll send the older section first & then the newer Tina?_ Daughter of Wm Drennen & Wite? 1. Re: [MOJEFFER] MUCH NEEDED THANK YOU!
    2. We drove by the DeSoto Cemetery on Rock Road on July 4th (after the parade), and I marvelled that anyone would take on a project of that size. And it's only one of the many you are reading. Joe, you are phenomenal!! Thank you for all you are doing!
