    2. Gary Null
    3. Primarily, I'm researching the NULL and STRUNK surnames in Jefferson County, of course along with all the related names that crossed paths with the NULLs: ARNOLD, BOYD, CRAIG, ELDERS, GAMEL, HARNESS, HAVERSTICK, HENDERSON, HILDERBRAND, HOBBS, HOUSE, LEE, OGLE, PORTER, WALKER and too many others to mention. It seems that families that have been in Jefferson County for several generations can find a link. I trace my Jefferson County roots back to William NULL, who received a Spanish Land Grant to settle in the late 1790s in what was to become Jefferson County. My special interest is Winfield Scott NULL (1850-1938) and his son, Oliver Rudolph NULL (1871-1909),, my gr-gr-grandfather, who married Cora Ella STRUNK in 1896. Gary Null Aurora, Colorado

    3. The James McCulloch, who was the husband of Charlotte Boggs, was a brother to Hugh McCulloch. Charlotte and Mary Esther Boggs were sisters. Robert and Elizabeth Boggs of Abbeville SC were the parents of Charlotte and Mary Esther. This information comes from the wills of both Robert and Elizabeth Boggs, which were probated in Abbeville Co. (old Dist. 96) SC. I didn't know that Charlotte Boggs was the second wife of James McCulloch the elder. I have only found records in SC which led me to believe she was his only wife, but I could be wrong. James McCulloch, son of Hugh, and my ancestor was married twice, his 2nd wife was Amanda Lee Alvoid. On the 1850 census it shows that she had a 4 year old son, from a previous marriage. I am not sure which Lee family she was a member of. So James first wife Catherine wold have died between 1840 and 1850. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ann Wideman" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, March 31, 2005 2:47 PM Subject: RE: [MOJEFFER] Roll Call > Martha, > Do you know if the father, Robert Boggs, of Charlotte Boggs, James > McCulloch's second wife, is the brother-cousin or what of Mary Esther > Boggs? > Also, thank you for the names of the daughters of James and Catherine, I > only had Minerva's name. > Ann > > -----Original Message----- > From: M.
