I don't know his first wife's name, but his last wife was Sam Raul's mother. When William Nephew died in 1923, he was living with Jack DeGonia per affidavits at Washington County Court House. Researching Abernathy and Quest Abernathys started in Perry County and then to Jefferson County in about the 1890's. My dad Kenneth Abernathy was born in Jefferson County, 3-19-27, along with 3 brothers 1st Robert, 2nd Louis, 4th Paul Raymond, all Abernathy's. Their father Clarence was born 1899 in Perry County but married Rose Quest in 1918. Clarence married Rose Quest in 1918. She was born in Rush Tower, Mo and Died in Crystal City, Mo. Looking for Clarence Abernathy father. Noah or Joseph Noah Abernathy. Born 1877, Perryville, Mo. Don't know where he died. Married Ida Carrelton (maybe different spelling) in Dec. 24, 1896.
