Here is what I have on the Wilson's of Jefferson County, Missouri: http://carrollscorner.net/WILSON.htm
My g-grandparents Jesse David WAGGENER (1850-1935) and Anna Eliza KENNER (1864-1838) were both born in Jefferson County. Jesse's parents, Reuben Garnett Waggener (1797-1884) and Mary MOORE (1817-1904), came to Jefferson Co. in about 1840 from Kentucky. Anna's parents were William Bryant Kenner (1831-1912) and Mary Malinda SWINK (1836-1919) moved from Ste. Genevieve County. Mary's parents William Swink (1811-1883) and Eliza STURDIVANT (1808-1881) also came from Ste. Genevieve County. Rick Waggener Walnut Creek, California sequoia@pacbell.net
In researching family history we often find the Head of Household had a value assigned to the estate. If you want to compare that amount at today's value, go to this site: _http://www.aier.org/research/col.php_ (http://www.aier.org/research/col.php) Having $100 in 1913 would be like having $2036 in 2006.
