This band played from 1913 to 1928 in Webb City, Joplin, Carthage, Springfield, several cities in KS, OK and Des Moines, IA. Band members besides Zola were 2 of her brothers: Byrtus and Pallas, along with Eddie Cox, Bruton Woods and Byron Fly. After band broke up, Bryon Fly went on to form his own band, called "The Byron Fly Tri-State Band". Mr Fly later became a judge for the Jasper Co court. Zola continued to perform in the KC area. Later in her life she resided in TN where she died in 1972. She is buried in MO. Zola had 1 more brother, Harry, and a sister, Charlotte.
