She was born July 23, 1931 to Howard and Pat Killingsworth in Carthage, Mo. She attended high school in Sutherlin and lived in Toledo for many years of her life. She was married to Fred Lindsay, and together they owned and operated Siletz Sanitary Service for 33 years until they sold it in 2005. The couple also owned and operated several rental properties. In addition to her other activities, she took pride in her home and yard. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Fred Lindsay. She is survived by her stepchildren Kirk, Crystal and Caprice; sister, Donna (Dave) Smith of Sequim, Wash.; five step-grandchildren; nephews David and Mark Galla of Wrangell, Ala. and niece Patti Olson of Hillsboro. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Affordable Burial and Cremation of Newport is handling arrangements.
