It's entirely possible what I've found is not unknown to the person. It's also possible some it is the wrong family or incorrect. I can find information, but I can't verify it's correctness. She first married James Toutt in Iowa, then William Frazier, Indianola, Iowa, about 1867. They moved to missouri and had 3 children, Edward, Herman Calvin and Dora Frazier Margaret's 1st marriage to James Toutt. I didn't read it as Hermit or Herman, but it's close enough to correct. D. Alexander lived at 1115 Harvard Galena, KS. He had been in Galena since 1929, moving from Webb City MO. He married Frieda Taylor September 15, 1934 at Galena. He died at Oak Hill Hospital Joplin, MO. Survivors were his wife and (adopted) daughter Mrs. Carleen (?Earl) Shirley, Glencoe, OK., 2 grandchildren. Earl Shirley was a pallbearer. Carl and Frieda had no children of their own. I've heard Carleen's mother was married to Neil/Neal, not sure of spelling, Frazier and also had an older daughter. When she had Carleen, he said she wasn't his. Carl and Frieda claimed the mother was unfit and took Carleen. Why not the older daughter also? Her father later remarried, I don't know about her mother.
