Would it not be better for us to make our remarks directly to each other? My personal ancestry is mixed: north & south, colonial & 1800's. My husband's is also mixed: colonial, & Polish/German pre-Civil War, Irish to Canada 1850's & MYERS pre-Chicago Fire. I also work on our daughter-in-law's: Scotch-Irish & colonial. I have been trying to concentrate on my Dad's lines, especially WILLIAMS which is so common. My paternal grandparents were married in Jasper Co., MO. in 1897 WILLIAMS & GAULT, but they were no longer there for the 1900 census and never returned to MO.
