Tere, There was a Twitchell Genealogy that was published back in the 1920s that runs about 800 pages. If you have Twitchells/Twichells in your family, I'd be happy to look them up in the genealogy for you. My line, unfortunately, is one of the 'lost' lines. We're in the genealogy, but my 3rd gr grandfather's parents are incorrect, so we can't go any further back than him. Another Twitchell researcher and I have been working for a number of years to correct the errors in the original genealogy and update where we can. That being said, I am aware of NY/NJ Twitchells, but I would need more information to pinpoint the ones you are looking for. Please contact me privately if you would like additional information on this family. Yes, I was quite excited when I saw the photo! I have her Carthage High School diploma, too, which is quite large, impressive and actually is on skin. I've been in contact with the Powers Museum about donating it, and they said they'd like to have it as they don't have one that old. I just need to get out to Carthage, as I'd prefer to hand deliver it, rather than entrust it to the postal service or some other carrier.
