Married Gabriel Green Partain, Aug 1867, Joplin MO. Gave birth to Rebecca Abigail Partain, June 27, 1868, and Jacob "Jake" S. Partain, August 26, 1870. Elizabeth Pricella Starnes-Partain died in childbirth with Jacob, Lebanon, Laclede Co., MO.. There is also belief that Elizabeth Pricella Starnes' name was Abigale (or could have been her mother or grandmother), and that's how my grandmother (Rebecca Abigail Partain) got her middle name. Gabriel Green Partain, born April 17, 1845, Scott Co AR. Civil War, 2nd Ark Infantry, and served in Missouri, and that's where he probably met Elizabeth Pricella Starnes. Gabriel Green Partain (family lore) left his two children with Elizabeth's parents and moved down to Pleasant Grove, Dover, Pope County, Arkansas, where his uncle had some property. Gabriel Green Partain worked for over a year, bought a piece of land from his uncle, bought a wagon, and went back to Missouri and picked-up his two children, and, took them back to Pleasant Grove, Pope County, AR.
