Mr. Yott died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002, at his residence. Born Nov. 20, 1940, in Pater- son, N.J., he moved to Shasta County in 1998 from St. Charles, Ill. He was a law enforcement officer in Neosho, Mo. Survivors include wife Kathie; sons Douglas and Mi- chael; daughters Alicia and Cara; stepsons Jon Butcher of St. Charles and Timothy Butcher of Carthage, Mo.; stepdaughters Tammy Bea- ringer of Elburn, Ill., Deborah Cho of St. Charles and Heat- her Meister of Carol Stream, Ill.; brothers Donald of Los Angeles and Tom of Anaheim Hills; sister Carroll Cullen of New Jersey; 22 grandchildren. and three great-grandchil- dren.
