Born Nov. 16, 1929 in Car- thage, Mo., he moved to Shasta County in 1952 from Westwood. He was a laborer for Kim- berly-Clark Co. in Anderson. Survivors include stepsons James Thomas of Oroville and Donald Thomas of Ye- rington, Nev.; stepdaughters Ruth Muncy of Yerington and Dorthea Lane of Powell Butte, Ore.; brothers BIll of Mountain Gate, Earl of Olinda and Robert of Eureka; and sis- ter Rosalee Baker Edgmon of Redding.
