He was born in Sarcoxie, Missouri on October 2, 1914. He was a chemical engineering graduate of Texas A&M, Class of 1935. He was a member of the famous Aggie Marching Band. He worked for the Baroid Division of N.L. from 1935 until 1975. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, acheiving the rank of Captain. He was a longtime member of numerous professional organizations, including A.I.M.E./S.P. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Josephine Lantry Cramer. He is survived by his three sons and daughters-in-law: Dr. Alan T. and wife Antoinette of Houston; Richard C. and wife Sandra of San Antonio; and James L. and wife Patricia of Kingwood. He had two grandchildren, Kristina Leigh and James Alan of Kingwood. Also surviving are sister Marjorie McCraw Lohner of Bryan and brother Maurice Boyd Cramer of Corpus Christi and their respective families. Funeral services an! d entombment will be held at the Chapel of Memorial Oaks Cemetery at 13001 Katy Freeway on Tuesday March 19th at 10am.
