Dear list, Thanks so very much for the many suggestions that several of you gave to me to help track down the M.E. church in Carthage that Henry G.Mais may have been pastor of in 1906.One of you suggested that I try the Methodist church online address and archives.Did find that but it seemed to indicate that they charge $25.00 an hour for searching their archives.That certainly is not an option for me!! Candy Cox,are you out there?You mentioned that many of your ancestors had gone to the church in Carthage and California Mo where many of my ancestors had been also.You said you thought that the church I might be looking for was the one in downtown Carthage.Would you happen to have an address for that Methodist church?
