She made the front page of the Joplin Daily Globe! Said her "remains will be shipped to Longton, Kan., to be laid it rest beside the grave of her husband, who passed away many years ago." One of her sons, John McManamy, was for 2 terms marshal of Joplin. Have the extensive newspaper article on the dead of John's brother, Charles, who died in 1933; apparently he's buried in Forest Park Cemetery. A little obit notice on Mrs. Georgiana McManamy, who died in 1912, was the wife of Thomas; she's reportedly buried in Fairview Cemetery. Also buried in Fairview Cemetery is an "E.S.
