Charles (we think) married Mamie Cynthia ROBINSON of (we think) Joplin MO about 1913-14. To this union were born two sons (both in Joplin) Harold Lee BRYAN b:1915 and Walter Howard BRYAN b:1917 Sometime after Walter's birth, Charlie disappeared and joined the military. Mamie has related that she later applied for an allotment and was denied with the explanation that Charlie joined as an unmarried individual. Charlie was never seen or heard from again. Mamie later married James BRAY in Joplin, who raised Harold and Walter to adulthood. The actual marriage to Charlie is untested as it could have happened anywhere if it didn't take place in Joplin. Harold's birth cert lists Charlie's birthplace as Warren PA, at this time the date or estimated date of Charlie's birth is unknown.
