The last child was born in IA in 1873.     3. You might want to try to get ahold of a printed census index for the 1870 census, since ancestry.com hasn't indexed it yet. Joan Kunkel has a transcription of the 1870 Jasper co. Missouri census with an index. It is available from the Family History Center libraries.
