Margaret - Well, rats. I'm really disappointed. No, I'm sure she would have graduated in 1930. I found her in the 1929 Joplimo that's at the Joplin library, and she was a junior then. She was at the very top of her class page - do you know what that meant? The students weren't listed alphabetically - could the pictures have been by class ranking? (Seems pretty hard-hearted if one were at the bottom of the class, but I can't figure out any other logic to the placement of pictures....) No, Bud and Louise Jones weren't my mother's siblings. Her siblings closest in age were Jamie, who was born in 1909, and Lois, who was born in 1906. Mom was the youngest. They lived on East 7th Street just East of the Duquesne City Limit sign.
