He was born in Ohio and lived in Indiana and Iowa before moving to Missouri. I know he served in an Iowa Infantry during the Civil War. I am interested in the names of his children. I believe he may be the father of my great, great grandmother, Sarah E. Thatcher, who was born in Indiana in 1848. Thank you for any help provided.
