You might try google.com/ie and type in "Hickman, James". don't use Fletcher since I've tried and it won't come up. Be sure you put quotation marks around your words or the engine would give you separate searches. google.com/ie is limited. It supposedly picks out the most important items to be found. If you want a larger search, type in "Hickman, James". Also try "James Hickman." I was born in Webb City at the old Jane Chinn Hospital. But I went into the Navy when I was sixteen and have lived outside of Missouri all my adult life. The Princess Mine's being outside of Webb City was probably in Oronogo. You might search with that name too. By the way, when miners went to the company store to buy victuals, the were told to buy with cash or ore. Supposedly, the name Oronogo comes from "Ore or no go." It's a great story. I hope it's true. I don't know how "cash" got left behind. More like than not, it was because there was so little of it around.
