He was the brother to Louis Phillip, Thomas J. Charles Franklin, Mary (Hodson)and possibly others. He (John) died as the result of an accidental gunshot wound and left 2 sons (William & Harv Passley) and possibly a daughter. At least one of the sons was raised by Louis Phillip Passley. This all occurred in the latter half of the 19th century. I am not sure of which county John was living at the time of his death, but the rest of the family was living around Purcell and Oronogo. Does anyone know when and where John Passley died or have a copy of an obituary? I will be very happy to exchange any info .
