I am looking for information on the family of Elliott Leroy Foster. He went by Roy. He was born Sep 1896 in Joplin, and died 6 Feb 1936 in Galena, Cherokee, Kansas, though he was living in Carl Junction at the time. His wife was Bertha Irene Jackson, and their children are Katheryn, Sherman, Nellie, Miriam, Shirley Ann, and Richard. Bertha and the kids left MO for California around 1940. Roy's parents were William S Foster and Maggie ?? Roy's siblings were: Leona, Vernell, (Roy), Bonnie (Bony) Ola, Harold V, Abigail P, Dean E (girl), Roxie C, Freda M, and Jack M FOSTER. Does anyone have any information on this family? I know Roy died in a mining accident in Galena. There were several articles in the local papers. Does anyone know how I could locate these articles?
