Hi all, I'm looking for information on George F. O'CONNOR b. Aug. 1877 in PA. Info I have is that he was "raised" by the Winn family in or around Scammon from about age 11 (1888). I don't have names for any of the WINN family. One possibility is that George may have been an Orphan Train Rider since he ended up in the west apparently alone. I did find him in the 1900 census in Empire City KS living in a boarding house of the BLACK family, so the area seems to be right. Would be fantastic if there was an 1890 census to check but don't we all wish for that! Also, George F. O'CONNOR married Maggie WITT in Webb City in 1906 but have not been able to locate marriage cert yet. Nothing at the courthouse from my request. Would appreciate any info on him or the WINN family to help fill in the blanks. Blessings MaryBeth
