Hello, I am new to the list and have a question. My parents were married by a Charles MC DONALD in Jasper County, June 1944. I would like to know if anyone knows anything about the laws of marraige at the time, ie ages, residency requirements and if they know anything about Justice of the Peace Mr. Charles MCDONALD.
