I've got a question...does anyone know what might have happened to the records of all these mining companies? ie American Lead & Zinc, etc. Someone mentioned awhile ago that there was a new mining museum headed up by the Univ. Missouri-Rolla. Would they have them? I have asked at both the Galena Mining Museum & the Archival Library & neither has any mining company records, beyond photos or city directories.
