Marie, You will probably get that information from the County Recorder or County Clerk's office. Those offices would be in Carthage, since that's the county seat. Good luck! ciao, Ron

Marriage records office is no longer in the Carthage courthouse.. It is located in the Bank of America building, 2nd floor on the north west corner of the Carthage square. Divorce is a court action- you'll need to check the index's in both courthouses, but the file will be housed in Carthage. Death - depending on what your looking for (wills, probate & more) the best place to go is the Jasper county Records Annex, 125 N. Lincoln Carthage. Good Luck!
