If looking for divorce or other civil action check both courthouses ------------------- The divorces are at the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court. I haven't yet been to the Jasper County Courthouse, but the people in Barry and Lawrence counties were extremely helpful. They let me back into the vault to look for divorces, which are with the other lawsuits. You'll probably want to bring a buddy, since the books are very large and heavy and two people makes it quite a bit easier.
