Oct. 8 1844, in Boonville, Warrick Co. IN, d. Dec. 30, 1904 in Joplin, Jasper Co. MO, and his wife, Mary Margaret (Maggie) Bates Spencer, b. Sept. 19, 1847, in Boonville, Warrick Co. IN, d. Abt 1938 in Joplin, Jasper Co. MO. Their sons were Arthur Everett Spencer, b. Oct 3, 1868 in Newberg, IN, m. Lou Ann Howard. They had at least two sons and lived in Joplin; Cl;ifton Bates Spencer, b. May 22, 1871 in Boonville, Warrick County, MO; Herbert Galen (Deed) Spencer, b. May 27, 1873 in Boonville, IN, d. Nov. 5, 1955 in Springfield, MO; and Curren Coke Spencer, b. Feb. 6, 1882 in Joplin, MO. They had four sisters, one of whom is my grandmother. I have the information on them. I have no information in the four sons, and really need to make the reconnection. Art Spencer, like his father, was a lawyer and headed the Spencer law firm in Joplin. I don't have the name of the firm. His father's law office wazs on the sec! ond floor of the Post Office, west side. Any information will be deeply appreciated. I have MANY photos of them and their home. Very willing to share.
