Hello All, I am new to this list. I am researching my Palmer and York line in and around the Carthage Area. I am descended from: Ransom Palmer b.1840 Chautauqua Co, NY d.abt. 1901 in Carthage Mo, and married Fannie Bragg b.1843 d.1891 Carthage, Mo Issues: Luthian Palmer b.1865 d.1902 Carthage, Mo Earl Alexander Palmer b. 1877 d.1913, Carthage, Mo This Palmer family group migrated from Chautauqua Co, NY > Glenwood Mills Iowa > Saybrook, McLean Co, Ill > Jasper and Newton County, Mo. (Ransom's brother Charles removed to Newton Co and is buried in Diamond Cemetery.) Earl Alexander Palmer m. divorcee Ivah York Pfenninger sometime aft. 1907 and had 2 children: Hazel and Estell "Bud". Luthian married Louisa Unknown and had a dtr Daisy (or Margaret).
