Dave I suspect you are new to this list or you would be aware that Brenda is a kind, intelligent and helpful person. I applaud her response to your rantings and suggest you reread what sent you in such a strange direction. I'm sure if you read it enough times you will understand it eventually. I too descend from what was considered by the owners and the government then and all too often now, "POOR WHITE TRASH". They would have preferred not to have worked in the mines and smelters that killed them, often by the time they were 40. Fortunately, my ancestors were able to get out early so I was never exposed to the mine dangers but I never forgot my roots, nor will my children.
