He married Sarah Bernettie Atkinson. They were in the census of Jasper County as early as 1900, in Joplin Township. Their children were Lula Maud, Turner (Jack), Harry, James H., Bennie (Clint), Edgar (Dock). amd Minnie B. These people lived in Jasper County most of their lives.
