    3. Hi list members, I was just in Webb City this weekend. I dragged my father and cousin around with me (good thing). While hanging out my cousin told me about a museum in Joplin dedicated to the mining industry. He told me that an aunt of his on his mothers side of the family donated about 500 photo's to this museum. Does anyone know about this museum, we didn't have time to visit it, my cousin said photo's from Joplin, Webb City, Carterville and other surrounding towns may be included. My great great grandfather was a blacksmith on Daugherty St. in Webb City. We located the spot where his shop must of stood. It's gone now replaced with some other business but I would really like to find out if there is a photo of Daugherty St. circa 1900 (before or after) which may show my g-great grandfather's shop "The Jockey Club Shoeing Shop". I don't know how long this museum has been open, my cousin said he was going to check with his aunt to see if she has any left. Up until 2 months ago we had no idea we had family there, so when the photo's were donated no one had any reason to think there could possibly be family connections. Any help or suggestions would be truly appreciated. Thanks, Roberta
