My Grandmother's father [Samuel GAULT] was a Preaching Elder for The Church of the Brethren in the Jasper Co., Mo. area but closer to Dade Co. a few years later and about 1900 he and some of his children had moved on to N.D., Bowbells area. My Grandmother died long before my parents married. But I believe that the Church of the Brethren is NOT like the United Brethren in Christ. But I could be wrong.
