Thank you Tom and Orlena for your help. I really appreciate it. My line is from his first wife. I've been trying to find information on what happened to his second wife and the kids from that marriage. He seems to have just walked away from his first family - three boys and a girl. His wife died in Childbirth and he put the kids with their maternal grandparents and moved on. In his Civil War records he doesn't even mention his first wife, but does at least mention the kids! I was hoping an obituary might have more information on his second family.
