You were giving information and so was I. They all should go back to the original query with each new answer after it. Actually if the query changes each new unrelated Subject query should be started new. They should not be attached to an existing query. When they are, it's difficult to find them under the original Subject when browsing. There is one thread, the original Query or Information showing on the Message Board. http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.missouri.counties.jasper/mb.ashx In this case, we were okay because we were both giving information covered under the original query Subject. Hijacking other queries, by adding an unrelated Subject causes a real search problem. The Mailing List Archives can really show that when you are browsing them. http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/index/MOJASPER/ ~~~~~ Orlena ~~~~~~ Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. One daughter (may have been other children), Sallie (Sarah) Wyatt married (between 1880-1884) James Jones (watchmaker and jewery store owner) in Lexington. I have found much information in the Lexington Herald about James Jones and family but nothing about Annie Hamilton. She is listed in the 1900 Lexington Census as living with Daughter and Son-In-Law Sarah and James Jones. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Highlight the area under Attachments: in the post, if you can't see anything or it's too small. You will see there are two (2) attachments. Unhighlight them and click on the one you want first. The one on left is a marriage record page containing two (2) marriage records. Yours is on the bottom half. The other is a 1920 Crawford County KS Census record. When they settle and are still to small to read, move the cursor around over the bottom right corner until you see the enlargement symbol and click on it. It is the size it would be on another site, or scanned also. ~~~~~ Orlena ~~~~~~ Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. (possible Thomas) Hughes, born in MO around 1867. He had a son, my grandfather, Lavern William Hughes. I believed his wife was Mary Adell Sapp. However, I found a marriage record for Edna Adell Sapp and various census records with Adel, Adela and Odile. I think her father may have been Henry Sapp as I show him living in the household after she is married. I am hitting a brick wall with his spouse and both their parents. I know from family that he owned an auto dealership in Joplin, but that is about all. I would appreciate any information you may have! Thanks! I don't find Charles Spencer in the database, though. Charles' and Laura's death certificates are on the Missouri Death Certificates database http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/ and both are buried in Harvey Cemetery, but somehow Charles' wasn't recorded.
