We would take a picnic and spend the afternoon and evening playing in the bottom of the pit. During the same era, my grandfather. I don't know where but was told it was near Jasper (the city) According to family, he was survived by his wife Luretta and children, Ed & Doshia Crawford who then returned to Hickory County, Missouri where Luretta later married Tacitus Clay Graves, from whom my Father and I descended. I would appreciate any suggestions or help anyone can offer in verifying this information. TIA, Paul Graves
