    2. I looking for information regarding Martin George Doty. He was born in Carl Junction, Jasper County, Missouri on December 23, 1912. His parents were George Earl Doty and Carrie Belle Snyder Doty. He was one of 10 children. He was married to a woman named Fern (don't know her maiden name). They had four children that I know of including a set of twins born in 1941. I would very much like to hear from anyone who might know of this family. My husband is related to them. In an apparent whirlwind courtship and in a very short time married my sister, Madeline Ione Fitzgerald, fathered Madeline Ione Lowe, born in 1953, and moved on. The marriage didn't last, and he disappeared. He is said to be from Joplin, Missouri." Daughter Mardeline seeks to find her family tree. Can you help? STERLING BALES is on one stone 1881-1958 and Oscar W. STERLING 1857-1920 on the other stone -both lying flat in the ground in Old Mission Cemetery, Sedgwick co, KS. In this plot the STERLING name is also on a large upright stone which has the names FIELDS -UTT on the other side. Kirk FIELDS and Howard UTT were both 20 years old when they were run over by a Santa Fe passenger train in Wichita, KS on 14 Jul 1921. Howard UTT left a young widow-name unknown. Was Mrs. UTT related to STERLING? Kirk FIELDS family was in Joplin, Jasper co, Missouri where his father was dying so Kirk was buried with his friend in Old Mission Cemetery in Kansas. Kirk's mother, Doshia FIELDS and his siblings, Helen Marie, Henrietta, Dorothy Juanita and Roy FIELDS all moved to Denver, Colorado where they were living in 1949 when Doshia FIELDS died.     3. I am seeking information on Tilman Dyer who I found on the 1920 MO census living in Jasper County, MO in Duenweg Township. He was listed as age 74, born in Tennessee. I believe he is my relative, a son of Pleasant Dyer and Margaret Lain/Lane Dyer who came to MO from TN. His parents and brother and other family members are buried in Dyer Cemetery, Douglas County, MO. I beleive he lived for a time in Greene County, MO. Did he die and is he buried in Jasper County, MO? You might want to check with some of the adoption and birth family groups to see what the best thing to do would be.
