Would you look up the marriage of Thomas or Fate Hooker, he was named Thomas but his headstone says Fate and Jessie Clayton. I hope they were married in Carthage in before 1898, the birth of their first child. He was born in Carthage and she was born in Carl Junction. Many thanks Donna

Dear Ann, Thanks so much for this website. I found a Doty picture on it. I am researching the Dotys in Missouri. Claudia
Just wanted to let everyone know that I have been adding pages to the Jasper County MOGenWeb page. If you haven't stopped in lately, please do! I have also added a few forms for adding information, currently you can add Obituaries, Burials, and Soldiers, any other information you would like to see added will need to be emailed to me and I'll get it posted as soon as possible. There are many things I intend to add, so keep checking back with us. Also you will find a few links to my personal site, that I am doing in conjunction with the Jasper Co page, that includes images of almost all of Marriage Book A, soon to be completed and part of Marriage Book B; Books C-E will also have images. Marriage Book F has been completed and is arranged alphabetically by Groom's Surname or Bride's Surname. Marriage Book A is still being transcribed. Biographies are also being, as well as obituaries submitted by visitors and some that I have as well. The City Directory of Webb City 1915-1916 now has surnames A-Q online and R is coming. I have also added a list of soldiers that have been buried in a couple of Jasper Counties Cemeteries. Much more is coming as I have time. Renessa Lewis List Mom Jasper Co MOGenWeb

Please help! I am searching for information on Walter Busby family of the Neck City area around 1920. I would like to find information on his wife, Flossie F. she had 3 young children, Robert R.: Dohn H. and Rita. ( Rita does not remember her mother as she was only 3 yrs. old when she died, Walter remarried, and the children were raised by a stepmother with a daughter of her own) I believe they married in the Alba or Neck City area. He (Walter) worked in the Zinc mines for a time and later owned a tavern in the local area. Dohn was killed in a mining accident, but I don't know when. Rita is still living, she will be 81 this month. If anyone can help please let me know. Thank you very much for any possible help. Patsy

Do any records exist of Cedar Hill Cemetery? Some of my ancestors were buried there and later buried at Park. Mary Jane Conrades
The site is not mine. I was sent it by a cousin and wanted to pass it on. If you go to the site, they have a "Contact Us" which will generate an email and you can contact them. Hopefully, it works. I found on picture of a man they call Elie Byington, I think this is one of my great or great-great-uncles so I am trying to contact them also. It is located at Schiefferdecker Park in the northwest end of Joplin. Go west on 7th Street from Main and the park will be on your right just after you pass Maiden Line. It has been in existence for decades but is much larger than the last time I was there. Joplin Museum Complex Bob Robert Evans Page "....comes from a long line of dead men."
