    2. Janis Dawson
    3. Anton and Christine Peterson Ellison were my g aunt and uncle. They came from Sweden @ 1870 and lived the rest of their lives in Carthage. I noticed in the 1930 census that they were still living. Is there anyone on the list researching this family or any decendents? I have very little on this member of the family and would really appreciate any information that anyone could share with me. Christine Peterson was my grandmother's sister, this is the line I am researching. Christine and Charlotte Peterson had other siblings in the area also. I would be delighted with any information.. Thanks, Janis in WY _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com

    2. Rosemary I pulled out my Dale file . I have always been curios abt this Ebben Dale also. Just on chance I went to Ancestry.com and I see that he has been identified as Being Ebenezer Dale who married Tabitha Utterback. His residing in Boone and Hendricks Co In makes him probably a cousin of my Thomas A Dale who resided in Cedar Co and of John Dale whose wife Priscilla Dale is buried in Fairview Cemetery at Alba also. In my Utterback book it appears He may have been know as Lewis Dale. Marilyn

I have been trying to find a marriage license for Tabitha DALE to see if she was Tabitha PRYOR before she married Ebbin DALE. I have been unable to find this. Tabitha PRYOR is my GGrandmother. Her husband John PRYOR died and she was still young with small children. Tabitha is not that common a name and I found a Tabitha DALE buried close to one of my Tabitha PRYOR's children in a cemetery in Jasper County. It says that Tabitha DALE was wife of Ebbin DALE. Jasper county is where they lived. I would appreciate any information you might have. Rosemary Holman

    1. [MOJASPER] Cemetery Lookup - Brackins
    2. Mike Landwehr
    3. Hi, I'm looking for the grave of Sarah Jane 'Jane' (Stogsdill) Brackins/Brackens. Sarah Jane, born in 1851, is reported to have died at Joplin on March 30, 1910. I'm assuming that she is buried in Jasper County, though I don't know for sure. If she is buried there, she could be buried with her husband, Alfred Brackins/Brackens, born about 1849. If some one on the list could do a lookup in the Jasper County gravestone records, I'd be very interested in what you find! Thanks so much, Mike Landwehr

    3. Hi, I'm looking for the grave of a relative by the name of Benjamin R. 'Ben' STOGSDILL. Benjamin STOGSDILL was listed in the 1920 census of Jasper County, and I know that he died about 1924, so I am assuming that he died, and was buried, in Jasper County. Benjamin was born on March 10, 1848. His wife's name was Margaret. She was born in December of 1848 (but I don't know when she died). Does anyone on the list have access to gravestone records of Jasper County that they could check for me to see if we can locate the grave of Benjamin Stogsdill? Or is anyone on the list interested in this family? Thanks so much for any help you might be able to provide, Mike Landwehr Mike@Landwehr.com West Des Moines, Iowa
