Is it possible for you to confirm that he was the architect for Jane Chinn Hospital and the date it was built. In a search, nothing establishes a date for the hospital. By 1920, he was in Texas. Perhaps you can refer me to another source if this type of data isn't available to you. Thanks....Joan in Western New York
Sorry, I forgot dates. Mary Chamness/Chamless married Samuel Swoveland in Nov. 1866. In 1880 she was married to James Jordan and they were in Jasper County, MO. She is supposed to have died there after she married again to a Gillfillan. Wanda in OK
Can someone help me find a death record, obit, place of burial for Mary Ann Gillfillan? Her maiden name was Chamness/Chamless, was born in N. Carolina. She first married Samuel Swoveland in Miami County, Indiana, secondly to James Jordan, and thirdly to a Gillfillan. Wanda in OK

WALKER & DUKE are quite common surnames, without knowing a smaller location, it will be impossible for anyone to know when they have found a James WALKER who might interest you. Please narrow our search and yours down to a smaller geographic area, such as a county, or the name of a place/town/city/township etc. The name "Lodema" strikes me as being unusual, have you tried it with the google "search engine" or some other "search engine"? Happy New Year :-)! Do you have any other information about your James Walker, like middle name, idea of county or town where he lived & married, names of children & when & what counties born in? The children's names sometimes have clues as to who the parents & Grandparents were. I have Walker Family in Missouri, too. When & where was Lodema born? Have you found them on any census records yet? I love to help people do searches, but I hate it when I find out the information was already found previously, Especially after I spend hours of my time helping, so Please fill us in a bit more on your Walker Family :-) Janet :-) ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, January 01, 2006 5:32 PM Subject: [MOJASPER] ANY INFO ON DUKE/WALKER > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: DUKE/WALKER > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/1MB.2ACI/2913 > > Message Board Post: > > I AM LOOKING FOR ANY INFORMATION ON LODEMA (DEMA) DUKE AND JAMES WALKER.
